Time to get into the Olympic spirit! Opening ceremonies are later tonight and earlier today Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry welcomed the Olympic torch at Buckingham Palace.

Life can change in a 140 character or less… Voula Papachristou, Greece’s triple-jump track champion, has been expelled from the Greece Olympic Track Team only days before the opening ceremonies for a tasteless joke she made on Twitter… Remember, the internet is not as private as you think.

So what US Soccer team member Hope Solo is saying is: we at THG need to start training for the next round of Summer Olympics?.. Well, what else would you expect to happen when you get a room full of athletes in peak physical condition who hopefully don’t have to compete the next day and mix it all with alcohol… 

Star U.S. Soccer Team goalie Hope Solo failed a recent drug test but was let off with a warning and will still be eligible for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Hope did not realize that the prescription drug she took for “pre-menstrual purposes” contained a diuretic on the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s prohibited list.
